Project Caduceus
I was the sole User Interface programmer and a team leader on Project Caduceus. We applied agile development to this module, meaning each group member led a 2-3 week sprint. I was strict, yet supportive during my time as leader, because of this we completed a long list of backlog tasks in a short time frame. This improved my confidence when in charge. Alongside this I implemented multiple core elements such as dialogue, main menu, pause menu, interact system, inventory and typewriter text effect.
Caduceus is a third-person puzzle stealth game in which the player takes the role of Zelus, a young girl who has escaped from the day-care room within the Olympus Facility. Guide her as she explores the rest of the facility completing puzzles, finding key cards and avoiding detection. ​
Zelus is just one of many children housed within the Olympus facility for one reason and one reason only: experimentation. Each child is nicknamed after a Greek God or Goddess, with their real names remaining a mystery. As Zelus delves deeper into the facility, she begins to uncover more and more information about why she is there, who she is and what fate awaits her. Being only 8 years old, she sees things through an innocent lens which makes for a unique yet chilling gameplay experience.​
