Underwater Endless Runner

This project came to life from the prompt 'passion project', for this, I knew I wanted to create a full game that I could upload for people to play. This is when I decided to make an endless runner inspired by the game I was playing (and loving) then... 'Dave The Diver', hence the underwater pixel art theme.
 
There are many mechanics I'm proud of in this game, most importantly the procedurally generating backgrounds which randomly spawn power-ups and enemies, speed up player movement and increase the score multiplier. Power-ups consist of bubble projectiles, score additions and time dilation.

I created most pixel art for this game as it's a skill I would like to improve over time and something I enjoy.
